A Sculptural Observation Tower Has Opened In Denmark

?

Architecture and urban planning studio EFFEKT, has recently completed a sculptural observation tower at Camp Adventure, located south of Copenhagen.

?

The tower is the centerpiece in a nature experience that provides visitors with a chance to observe the Gisselfeld Klosters Forest from a unique perspective.

?

A 2952 foot (900m) elevated boardwalk zigzagging in and out between the trees, leads to the tower, which has a height of 147 feet (45m) and features a 2132 foot (650m) long inner spiraling ramp.

?

The structure has been constructed from weathered steel and locally sourced oak, allowing it to blend in subtly with the surrounding natural elements.

?

The spiraling ramp to the observation deck at the top of the tower provides guests with various view points the entire way, while also offering step-free access to all visitors.
